The 360° camera outside mirrors are integrated into the respective outside mirror housing. The front 360° camera is fastened in the radiator trim. The 360° system reversing camera is located above the license plate on the left in the handle strip of the trunk lid or liftgate.
Task
The 360° cameras have the following tasks:
Recording of surrounding area
Provision of taken pictures
The pictures recorded by the 360° cameras are processed by the parking system control unit.
Structure
Each of the 360° cameras consists of a one mega pixel color camera with wide-angle lens. To provide the necessary field of view, the camera lens has a horizontal angle of vision of 180° and a vertical angle of vision of 123°. The 360° cameras operate with a voltage of 5 V and are supplied with voltage by the parking system control unit.
