Composition

The main components of the disc brake with sliding brake caliper are:

- Ventilated brake disc (3).

- Support fastened to rear axle and to front axle steering knuckle where there is the brake caliper (1) guided by the pins (6) and (7)

- Brake pads (4).

- Actuation device that presses through the lever (9) the intermediate pressure plate (15) against the brake pads.

- Adjustment device integrated in the brake caliper.

The disc brake with sliding caliper is activated by means of pneumatic combined and membrane cylinders.
