General

To facilitate the loading and unloading of the vehicle, it can be lowered at the rear axle. The level at the front axle remains unchanged. The function is activated via a control element in the trunk.

Function requirements

 Ignition ON (circuit 15)

 Vehicle battery sufficiently charged

 Vehicle at rest

 No trailer hitched

 No bicycle rack mounted

Function

When rear-end lowering is activated, the rear axle is lowered by 40 mm from the currently set driving level, but no lower than level -70 mm. If trailer operation is detected, the function not activated.

In the following cases, the lowering sequence is interrupted:

 A door is opened.

 The control element in the trunk is operated.

 The vehicle is traveling faster than 2 km/h.

 Trailer is connected.
