Design/function
The selector lever set is comprised of a support, the selector lever (1), the cardan bearing and the reversing device (2) corresponding to the "corridor" selector cable. There is a securing spring in the reversing device (2) which positions the selector lever (1) without play in the corridor of the 3rd and 4th gear.
The control cable (4) connects the reversing device (2), located in the selector lever set to reversing device (7) in de gearbox .
The control cable (3) joins the selector lever set, with the gear selector lever (9) in the shift shaft (8).
The reversing device (7) converts the longitudinal movement of the "corridor" control cable (4) into an elevation movement which is transmitted to the shift shaft (8) by means of a slide piece.
The selector lever (9) converts the longitudinal movement of the "corridor" control cable into a rotating movement of the shift shaft (8).
