Coolant pump (1) is available in three output stages depending on the engine output and depending on whether a retarder (only with secondary coolant-retarder) is installed or not.
Function
The coolant pump (1) is driven over the belt pulley (2) by means of a poly-V belt. The rotational movement of the belt pulley (2) is transferred over a shaft on the impeller (3) which allows the coolant to circulate in the coolant circuit.
