Boost pressure control task	 To adjust boost pressure to the operating condition of the engine  To regulate boost pressure in line with the characteristic map in the IFI [ERE] control module (N3/7)
Charge pressure control function	Boost pressure is governed by the IFI [ERE] control module (N3/7) in accordance with the boost pressure map and the data delivered by the pressure sensor (B28). The boost pressure control vacuum transducer (Y31/5), which is actuated by the control module by means of a variable current, supplies a controlled vacuum to the boost pressure control vacuum unit (110/10)
