General

The rpm sensors contactlessly record the engine speed and direction of rotation of the rotor of the electric machine. Each electric machine is equipped with two rpm sensors.

Location

The rpm sensors are attached the top and bottom of the transmission. The transmission is connected firmly to the electric machine.

 Circuit 30t ON

Function

The rpm sensors scan a gearwheel within the transmission. Each of the rpm sensors delivers a signal to the associated power electronics control unit.
