General

The temperature sensor records the temperature of the stator winding of the electric machine and delivers an appropriate signal to the related power electronics control unit.

Function requirements

Function

The temperature sensor is designed as an NTC resistor. It changes its electrical resistance according to the stator temperature. The power electronics control unit applies a sensor voltage of 5 V and evaluates the signal current depending on the stator temperature.
