Oil level sensor location	Engine 457.9 The oil level sensor (B14) is screwed into the base of the oil pan.

Oil level sensor task	The MR/PLD control unit determines the engine oil level with the oil level sensor (B14) and passes it on to the drive control unit (FR) in the form of a message via the engine CAN bus. The drive control unit (FR) then sends the value to the instrument via the vehicle CAN bus.
