Valve block position | The valve block is mounted at the top in the middle of the two cylinder banks. | ||
Valve block task | The valve block (21/7) connects the high pressure feed of the high pressure pump to the two rails. The fuel return flows of the injectors (51/6) and of the high pressure pump (19/16) are merged at the valve block (21/7) and run on together with the excess fuel controlled by the pressure control valve (Y74), to the fuel preheating valve. | ||
