As of vehicle ident. end no. 968300, the diameter of the low-pressure line (1) at the expansion valve (2) and at the refrigerant evaporator (3) of the air conditioning inside the heater housing has been modified.

Previous diameter = 15 mm

New diameter = 18 mm

Only the refrigerant evaporator (3) with the modified diameter will be available as a replacement part.

When installing a new refrigerant evaporator (3), it is therefore necessary to adapt the dimensions "H" and "D" of the cable duct (4) in the upper part of the heater housing (5) to the modified diameter. This can be down by boring, cutting or scraping out. Dimension "D" must be enlarged by 3 mm and dimension "H" by 2 mm.

The expansion valve is still available for the old and the modified line diameter.

To avoid placing incorrect orders, the diameter of the low-pressure line (1) at the evaporator should be checked first.
