2 Mask tailgate channel in upper area overlapping with 50 mm wide masking tape.
3 Close tailgate and mask adjacent surfaces with overlapping masking tape.

4 Cover complete vehicle with masking paper.
P98.00-2032-01
Painting bottom half of tailgate:
5 Remove license plate, Mercedes star, handle and license plate illumination.
6.1 Model 202: Remove tailgate lock and spoiler.
7 Remove model plate, replace.
8 Mask all clip and mounting holes with masking tape.
9 Mask bottom tailgate channel overlapping with 50 mm wide masking tape.

11 Mask rear window with masking tape.
12 Cover complete vehicle with masking paper.
