Remove right-hand rear luggage box

Place luggage box with lines connected to one side.

Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off.

Remove the Keyless Go chip card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the range of the transmitter (at least 2 m).

Disconnect electrical connector from vehicle-sensitive seat belt lock sensor (A60)

Remove vehicle-sensitive seat belt lock sensor (A60) at bracket and take out

Install in the reverse order

Check supplemental restraint system (SRS) with the aid of STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only when the vehicle-sensitive seat belt lock sensor (A60) has been replaced.

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
