Move rear seat to rearmost position

Remove rear seat cushion (2)

Unscrew nut (3) and unhook locking belt (4) from retaining bracket (5)

 Installation: The grab strap (6) of the locking belt (4) must face forward.

 Nut, locking belt to retaining bracket

Unhook drag (7) upward from rear seat backrest (1) and pull forward out of rear shelf (8)

Unscrew nut (9) securing restraining strap (10) to rear panel and expose restraining strap (10)

 Installation: Install new nut (9). Do not twist restraining strap (10).

 Nut, restraining strap to rear wall

Place padding (11) on catch hooks (12)

 The flat side of the padding points toward the rear seat backrest (1).

Pull locking belt (4) upward up to end stop (arrow A)

 Installation: Pull locking belt downward (arrow B) until grab strap (6) can be hooked into retaining bracket (5).
To make it easier to insert rear seat backrest lock, move rear seat backrest (1) forward and backward slightly.

Cover guide (14) on rear seat with a rag

 Scratches or damage to the seat belt buckle (13) are prevented.

Carefully fold rear seat backrest (1) forward until rear seat backrest (1) rests against padding (11)


To prevent damage to cover of rear seat backrest (1),
do not rest against folded-over rear seat backrest.

Install in the reverse order
