2.1 | Take out luggage compartment cover | For model 245 or Model 169 with code (723) Luggage compartment cover | |
3 | Release left rear seat backrest (1) and right rear seat backrest and fold forwards | ||
4 | Remove expansion clip (2). | Installation: Replace damaged expansion clips (2). | |
5 | Remove paneling (3) | Installation: Note correct seating of panel (3) in outer area. | |
6 | Unscrew bolt (4) | | |
7 | Fold left rear seat backrest (1) and right rear seat backrest back again | Do not lock left rear seat backrest (1). | |
8 | Detach electrical connectors (5) and place electrical wiring harnesses aside | ||
9 | Remove bolts (7) | | |
10 | Fold left rear seat backrest (1) and right rear seat backrest forward | ||
11 | Use screwdriver to press in lock (6) for left hinge fixture (8) and release (arrow) | Installation: Make sure that lock (6) latches correctly into place. | |
12 | Lift left rear seat backrest (1) out of left hinge fixture (8) | Aid of helper required. | |
Installation: Check correct seating of left rear seat backrest (1) in left hinge fixture (8). | |||
13 | Remove left rear seat backrest (1) out of vehicle | Remove left rear seat backrest (1) carefully out of vehicle, as otherwise vehicle trim parts may be damaged. | |
14 | Install in the reverse order |
