Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit

 On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Slide rear seat (1) backwards

 See Operator's Manual

Unclip covers (2).

 Toward front.

Remove bolts (3)

 Do not swap screws (3) with screws (5).



Fold rear seat (1) forwards

 Backwards.

Lift rear seat (1) at the front

Disconnect electrical connector (6) from the left rear seat belt buckle switch (S68/11) or from the right rear seat belt buckle switch (S68/12)

Remove rear seat (1) through rear door

 With aid of helper.

Install in the reverse order
