1.1 | Move seat cushion to foremost position | With code SB1/ SB2, Deluxe seat or code SB3/ SB4, Suspension seat. | |
2 | Actuate release lever (14) for backrest adjustment and lock backrest in rearmost position. | ||
3 | Unscrew stop screw (3) | ||
4 | Actuate release lever (14) and lock backrest in foremost position. | ||
5 | Remove hexagon socket head screws (4) on backrest | ||
6 | Remove backrest | For this purpose slightly press guide lugs (15) apart. | |
7.1 | Detach compressed-air hose (17) at connecting point | With code SB1/ SB2, Deluxe seat or code SB3/ SB4, Suspension seat. | |
8.1 | Detach electrical connector for heated seats | With code H15 or H16, Heated seats. | |

9.1 | Connect electrical connector for heated seats | With code H15 or H16, Heated seats. | |
10.1 | Connect compressed air hose (17) | With code SB1/ SB2, Deluxe seat or code SB3/ SB4, Suspension seat. | |
11 | Install backrest first at side of locking splines | To enable the backrest to be centered better in the mounting hole while installing, press the release lever (14) for backrest adjustment once. | |
12 | Position hexagon socket head screws (4) | Replace bolt. | |
13 | Install opposite side of backrest | For this purpose slightly press guide lugs (15) apart. | |
14 | Tighten hexagon socket head screws (4) | | |
15 | Tighten stop screw (3) | | |
16 | Perform a function test |
