On vehicles with code F68 (outside rearview mirror, heated and electrically adjustable) up to vehicle identification no. 1P 626621 on which the mirror is replaced, it is necessary to modify the mirror support

Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key

 On vehicles with outside rearview mirror, heated & electrically adjustable on left and right (code F68).

Open door

Unclip cover (4)

Pull out grommet (5) between door and A-pillar, disconnect connectors (6, 7)

 On vehicles with left and right heated+electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (code F68).
 Installation: Observe routing of electric leads.

Unscrew Torx screws (2) and Allen screw (3)



Remove complete outside rearview mirror (1) and pull electric leads through.



Mirror support converted from 2-point to 3-point mounting

Model 901.0/3/4, 902.0/3/4, 903.0/3/4, 904.0/3/4 as of 626622

 On vehicles with outside rearview mirror, heated & electrically adjustable on left and right (code F68).

When replacing the mirror up the VIN mentioned above, it is necessary to modify the mirror support
