1 | Remove license plate from trunk lid (5) | ||
2 | Remove inner paneling (2) from trunk lid (5). | ||
3 | Unscrew nuts (3) | ||
4 | Unclip clips (4) on outer paneling (1) from mounting holes (7) | | |
5 | Remove outer paneling (1) downward | ||
| Install | ||
6.1 | Check mounting holes on bottom of trunk lid (5) for missing plugs (6), install plugs (6) if necessary. | On vehicles with mounting holes at bottom of trunk lid (5). | |
7 | Position outer paneling (1) to trunk lid (5) from bottom and clip clips (4) into mounting holes (7). | Clips (4) should completely catch on the trunk lid (5) to prevent moisture from getting into the vehicle. | |
Replace damaged clips (4). | |||
8 | Screw nuts (3) | ||
9 | Install inner paneling (2) on trunk lid (5) | ||
10 | Install license plate on trunk lid (5) |
