2 | Remove bolts (2) | ||

4 | Disconnect electrical connector (4) from electrical coupling (5) | ||
5 | Actuate catch hook (6) and remove electrical coupling (5) from clip (7) | ||
6 | Unscrew collar nuts (10). | ||
7 | Remove adapter plate (1) from left rear-end door | Pull adapter plate (1) downward so that the clips (3) unclip from the left rear-end door, Check clips (3) for damage, replace if necessary | |
8 | Remove passage (9), expose electrical wiring harness (8) and remove adapter plate (1) | Installation: Ensure that passage (9) is seated correctly. | |
9 | Remove license plate lamp (E19/1) and right license plate lamp (E19/2) | Only when replacing adapter plate or left license plate lamp (E19/1) or right license plate lamp (E19/2). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order |
