1 | Remove expansion clips (2) and remove mounting strips (3) from bumper covering (1) | ||
2 | Press lug (5) and remove left impact damper (6) | ||
3 | Press lug (7) and remove right impact damper (8) | ||
4 | Lift lugs (5, 7) and remove center impact damper (9) together with license plate mounting plates (22) | Assembly: Ensure that both license plate mounting plates (22) are seated properly between center impact damper (9) and bumper covering (1). | |
5 | Unclip air inlet grate (10) on catch hooks (23) from bumper covering (1) and remove | | |
6 | Remove expansion clips (13) from left and right frame (14) | ||
7 | Unclip left and right frame (14) at catch hooks (15) from bumper covering (1) and remove | | |
Assembly: Ensure that catch hooks (15) are seated correctly on bumper covering (1). | |||
8 | Unscrew bolts (11) and remove left fog lamp (E5/1) from left frame (14) | ||
9 | Unscrew bolts (12) and remove right fog lamp (E5/2) from right frame (14) | ||
10 | Unclip retaining clips (16) from left and right fog lamp cover (17) | ||
11 | Unclip left and right fog lamp cover (17) at catch hooks (18) and remove from bumper covering (1) | | |
12 | Remove radiator paneling (19) | Only if required because radiator paneling (19) is destroyed when removed | |
13 | Remove towing device cover (20) from bumper covering (1) | ||
14 | Remove license plate bracket (21) from bumper covering (1) | ||
15 | Assemble in the reverse order |
