Remove left front lamp unit (E1) and/or right front lamp unit (E2).

Remove left turn signal lamp (E6/1) and right turn signal lamp (E6/2).

When installing a new fender.

8.2

Disconnect electrical connector of the left turn signal lamp (E6/1) and right turn signal lamp (E6/2).

When reusing the fender.

Remove vacuum lines (1) from the vacuum reservoirs (16) and release from the fender.

When removing the left fender.

Remove the air intake grille (13).

Remove air intake snorkel (14).

When removing the right fender.

 Remove air intake snorkel (14) only completely together with bracket if the fender is replaced.

 Installation: Check that the sealing ring (arrow) is seated correctly.

Check sealing ring (arrow) for damage.

If there are problems,



replace sealing ring (arrow).

Remove hose (15) from fender.

When removing the right fender.

Remove clamp (7) of the headlamp range adjustment line.

When removing the right fender.

Unclip headlamp range adjustment line.

When removing the right fender.

Remove screw (2) of the bodyside molding from the cab.

Remove screws (9) of the fender flare.

Unscrew nuts (10) of the fender fastening from the cab.

Remove screws (a).

Remove screws (b).

 Bolt, radiator crossmember to front end

Disconnect electrical connectors of the jump-start socket.

 Installation:
Note marking and do not swap electric lines.
There is a risk of short circuit otherwise.

 Mark electric lines.

Remove fender.

Install in the reverse order.
