Disconnect ground lead from battery

Do not interrupt main battery current in heater mode or in the run-on phase.

Danger!

Risk of injury caused by body parts being jammed and crushed when tilting cab

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab during tilting. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove splash guard (8)

Remove storage compartment

Only with code (F04) cab L (long).

Remove sound deadening mat (1) from underbody

Carefully detach sound deadening mat from front section, risk of cracks and fracture.

Unscrew bolt (2) at exhaust pipe bracket (4)

Remove heater unit muffler (13)

Remove heater unit fuel line (6)

Disconnect electrical connector (7) from fuel metering pump on cab floor

Detach connector (11) from heater (10)

Unscrew bolts (12) from base of heater unit

Remove heater from above

Do not damage plug and cable.
Installation: Replace sealing profile in heater base.

Install in the reverse order

Danger!

Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.
