Perform initial startup of refrigerant compressor (10)

When replacing the refrigerant compressor (10).



Release power steering pump (1) with connected hydraulic lines

 Removal: The hydraulic lines may not be unscrewed from the power steering pump (1).

Drain air conditioning system

Remove screw/bolt (2) from refrigerant compressor (10) and remove refrigerant line (3)



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Installation: The sealing ring of the refrigerant line (3) must be replaced and coated with compressor oil.

Seal openings of refrigerant line (3) and of refrigerant compressor (10) using suitable stop plugs


The openings of the refrigerant lines (3) and the refrigerant compressor (10) must be sealed.
Otherwise, penetrating dirt and moisture will damage the air conditioning system.

Remove bolt (4) from refrigerant compressor (10) and remove refrigerant line (5)



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Installation: The sealing ring of the refrigerant line (5) must be replaced and moistened with compressor oil.


The openings of the refrigerant lines (3) and the refrigerant compressor (10) must be sealed.

Disconnect cable tie (6) and put electrical connector to one side

Release and disconnect electrical connection (7)

Remove bolt (8)

When replacing the refrigerant compressor (10).

Remove refrigerant compressor (10)

Remove bracket (9) from refrigerant compressor

When replacing the refrigerant compressor (10).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Evacuate air conditioning system, refill it, and then check the system to make sure that it functions correctly and does not leak
