Remove/install

Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off.

Remove Keyless-Go chip card or transmitter key from vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (at least 2 m).

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Unclip and remove cover (1)

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from AAC multifunction sensor (B31/1)

Remove AAC multifunction sensor (B31/1)

Installation: The white sensor surfaces on the AAC [KLA] multifunction sensor (B31/1) must point toward the air inlet.

Install in the reverse order
