Danger of explosion due to welding or soldering in a closed air conditioning system. Danger of poisoning by breathing in overheated refrigerant steam. Danger of injury to skin or eyes through contact with liquid refrigerant

No welding operations in a closed air conditioning system or in its surroundings. Smoking and open fires are forbidden. Wear protective glasses and gloves and only work in well-ventilated rooms. Only perform repair work on the air conditioning circulation with an empty system.

Remove the evaporator (1)

Remove the counter-holder (5)



Remove the pipe line (4)

 Cut away the bitumen sealant from the evaporator and carefully remove the pipe line.

 Installation: Replace the sealing ring (3).

Pay attention to the correct positioning of the pipe lines and counter-holder (5) in the expansion valve (2).

Remove the expansion valve (2)

 Carefully pull away the assembly plate from the side, until the expansion valve on the pipe lines to the evaporator can be removed.

 Installation: Replace the sealing ring (3) and cover with compressor oil.

Install in the reverse order
