Danger

Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.

Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained.

Connect pressure and suction line of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit to test and filling valve, pressure side (3) and test and filling valve, intake side (4)

Observe operating instructions for air conditioning system vacuum and recycling unit.

Remove cover cap at shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and at shutoff valve, intake side (5)

Screw in shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and shutoff valve, intake side (5) approx. 3 turns

By screwing in the shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and the shutoff valve, intake side (5), the test and filling valve, pressure side (3) and the test and filling valve, intake side (4) are opened.

Extract refrigerant via test and filling valve, pressure side (3) and test and filling valve, intake side (4)

Open valves at manometer of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit slowly.
Pay attention to display message of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit.
Extract refrigerant until there is no detectable weight increase to the extracted refrigerant anymore.

After emptying the air conditioning system, unscrew shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and shutoff valve, intake side (5) up to end stop

By unscrewing to the end stop, the test and filling valve, pressure side (3) and the test and filling valve, intake side (4) are closed.

Switch off air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit

Observe operating instructions for air conditioning system vacuum and recycling unit.

Remove pressure and suction line of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit

Observe operating instructions for air conditioning system vacuum and recycling unit.

Screw cover cap at shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and at shutoff valve, intake side (5) on tight
