 Danger

Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.

Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained.

Connect pressure and suction line of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit to pressure side test and filling valve (2) and to intake side test and filling valve (3)

 Observe operating instructions for air conditioning system vacuum and recycling unit.

Unscrew cover cap from intake side shutoff valve (4)

Screw in intake side shutoff valve (4) approx. 3 turns

 The intake side test and filling valve (3) is opened by the screwing-in process.

Extract refrigerant via pressure side test and filling valve (2) and intake side test and filling valve (3)

 Note the following:
Open valves of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit slowly.
Pay attention to display message of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit.
Extract refrigerant until there is no detectable weight increase to the extracted refrigerant.

After emptying the air conditioning system, unscrew intake side shutoff valve (4) up to the end stop

 By unscrewing up to the end stop, the intake side test and filling valve (3) is closed.

Tighten cover cap on intake side shutoff valve (4)

Switch off air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit

Remove pressure and suction line of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit
