1 | Open tilting/sliding roof | ||
2 | Unscrew bolts (1) and remove rail (2) | ||
3 | Remove hold-down tool (5) from hold-down bearing (9) | ||
4 | Pull hold-down (5) to rear out of wind deflector (6) | ||
5 | Pull wind deflector (6) out of center mount (7) | ||
6 | Carefully press wind deflector (6) together with wind deflector mount (8) on left and right out of shaft with screwdriver | ||
7 | Remove wind deflector (6) upward | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Adjust | |||
9 | Check tilting/sliding roof and wind deflector (6) for proper function | If the wind deflector (6) hits against the tilting/sliding roof panel when moving into the cutout: | |
Change height adjustment by readjusting adjustment screw (arrow). | |||
10 | Check wind deflector (6) by moving back and forth | If wind deflector clatters (6): | |
Hold wind deflector (6) at outer wind deflector mounts (8) on left and right and pull out of center mount in the center area (7). Slightly bend wind deflector (6) upward and press into center mount (7). | |||
11 | Check function of tilting/sliding roof or wind deflector (6) by performing test drive at approx. 100 km/h | Repeat procedure if necessary |
