Installation: Use new micro-encapsulated bolts.

Loosen TV tuner wiring harness clamp (3)

Remove left rear door hinge maintenance flap (5)

Raise and remove at side (arrow)

Remove right rear splash guard (7)

Rear-end door hinge (8) is located below right rear splash guard (7)

Loosen door check strap (9) from left and right rear door.

Remove retainer (10) and remove bolt (11) from door check strap (9)

Installation: Check retainer (10) and bolts (11), replace if necessary

Adjust rear-end door in relation to body and rear-end door gap

Adjust side windows and doors when open

Loosen upper (12) and bottom (13) lock mechanism from body for adjustment

Adjust right rear door so that it is flush.

Adjust lock mechanism on right rear door (14).

Adjust left rear door in relation to right rear door so that it is flush

Adjust door lock (15) for easy motion on left rear door

Adjust lock mechanism on right rear door (14).

Install in the reverse order

Do not yet install closing wedge (16) on rear-end door

Cover closing wedge (18) on rear panel with insulation tape or masking tape

Install closing wedge (16) on rear-end door without adjustment panel (17)

Close rear-end doors and open again

Check whether insulation tape or masking tape has been pushed back on closing wedge (18)

If the insulation tape or the masking tape is pushed back by closing the rear-end doors, the adjustment is ok.

If the insulation tape or the masking tape is not pushed back when the rear-end door is closed, remove closing wedge (16) on rear-end door and shim with adjustment plate (17) on both sides

Check rear-end door, speaker and back-up assist warning buzzer for proper function
