Remove/install outside door handle on front door

Remove/install

Remove front door lining

Remove splinter protection (7)

 Splinter protection (7) must be removed so that the bolt (2) is accessible

 Installation: Use new micro-encapsulated bolts.

Loosen bolt (2)

 Until door handle (4) can be moved easily

Remove bolt from door handle (3)

 Installation: Replace bolt on door handle (3) by microencapsulated bolt.

Remove door handle (4) and unhook linkage

 First pull toward rear until bolt (2) is exposed, then remove toward outside

 Installation: Before installing door handle (4), adjust distance (A) between contact surface of door handle (4) and actuation bolt of door lock. Check gaskets (5, 6) and replace if necessary
