Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit

On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.

Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove front overhead control panel.

Do not disconnect electrical connectors. Allow overhead control panel to hang down on leads.

Press catch (2) together from both sides

Pull inside rearview mirror (A67) downward

Disconnect electrical connector (1) from rain sensor (B38) and electrical connector from front overhead control panel

If installed.

Install in the reverse order
