Remove head restraint in rear passenger compartment

Disconnect battery ground line

Remove window divider trim in the rear passenger compartment

Remove stop plugs (3) from the curtain rail (6)

Slide curtain (4) out of the cover (5)

 Installation: Ensure that all sliders of the curtain (4) are located in the curtain rail (6).

Remove cover (5) from the curtain rail (6)

Attach stop plugs (3) to the curtain rail (6)

Unclip trim (2) with assembly wedge from the C-pillar trim (1) (arrows)

Pull trim (2) toward the front out of the retaining clip (14) (arrow A)

Pull trim (2) toward the front out of the retaining clip (15) and remove (arrow B)

 Installation: The guide (7) of the trim (2) must engage in the mount (8) of the rear shelf (9).

Remove edge guard (11) in the area of the C-pillar trim (1)

Release front retaining clip (19) with suitable needle nose pliers and C-pillar trim (1) with retaining clip (19) out of the bracket (17)


Carefully release retaining clip (19),
so as not to damage the roof lining and the C-pillar trim (1).

Unclip C-pillar trim (1) from the retaining clips (12) of the C-pillar


Carefully remove C-pillar trim (1) from the retaining clips (12) of the C-pillar,
so as not to damage the retaining tabs (21) of the C-pillar trim (1).

Detach the C-pillar trim (1) over the window divider (10) and pull forward out of the retaining clips (16) until the electrical connector (20) is accessible

 Installation: Remove front retaining clip (16) from the bracket (17) and attach in the corresponding mount of the C-pillar trim (1).
The guide (18) of the C-pillar trim (1) must engage in the mount (13).
Press C-pillar trim (1) onto the C-pillar until the retaining clips (16, 19) engage correctly in the bracket (17).

Disconnect electrical connector (20) and remove C-pillar trim (1)

Install in the reverse order
