If retrofitted: Fasten sign of excellence (3) in center at top of center vertical strut with 2.9 x 9.5 self-tapping screw with countersunk head. | |||
2.1 | Remove radio cover on empty compartment | On vehicles without code (C01) Radio (DFO/FFO), (C16) Radio CD (DFO/FFO), (C26) Radio navigation (Comand) (DFO/FFO). | |
2.2 | Remove radio | On vehicles with code (C01) Radio (DFO/FFO), (C15) Navigation unit (DFO/DFF), (C16) Radio CD (DFO/FFO). | |
2.3 | Remove vehicle computer | On vehicles with code (C18) Onboard computer (FFO) | |
3 | Remove switch panel | ||
4 | Remove smoking set | ||
5 | Remove CD compartment | On vehicles with code (I03) CD compartment with 1 CD (DFO/FFO), (I72) Beverage holder with CD compartment (DFO/FFO), (I76) CD compartment with 2 CD's (DFO/FFO). | |
6 | Unscrew rear bolts (2) from vertical strut | ||
7 | Remove accessory mount (1) | Do not damage electrical leads. | |
Installation: Route electrical lines through corresponding openings in accessory mount (1) | |||
8 | Install in the reverse order |
