Removal, installation



Switch off ignition, otherwise sensor in airbag control module can be activated triggering the airbag

Remove cover on gearshift lever

Unclip cover (1) with long wedge (2)



Disconnect switch group (S21) connector (3)

Pry plastic cap out of pin (12) and pull out pin (12)

Installation: Always replace pin (12) together with plastic cap because they are damaged during removal

Tighten hand brake and remove covers
(4, 5) from hand brake lever

 Unclip lug (arrow) from cover (5).

Installation: Lug (arrow) should catch securely.

Unclip cover (6) with long wedge (2)

 Only vehicles without center armrest.



Remove center armrest

Unscrew screw (7)

 Only vehicles without center armrest.

Unclip covers (8, 9) with long wedge



 Move driver and passenger seat to front-most position.

Carefully unclip lugs (11) on front center console

 Danger of breaking lugs.

Move center console (10) at rear upward over hand brake lever and remove

Install in the reverse order
