Remove/install

Remove side paneling in rear

Unscrew bolt (2) from cover (3)

 Installation: Check cover (3) for leakage, if applicable, seal with suitable sealant.

Open locking hook (5) and remove cover (3)

 To open locking hook (5), turn bolts (4) counterclockwise until locking hooks (5) turns to opening position (picture A).

 Installation: The locking hooks (5) must be in the opening position (picture A) and be moved to the locking position (picture B) by turning bolts (4).

Adjust in longitudinal direction

Check window inclination and position of rear side window (1) in longitudinal direction and correct if required; for this purpose, close rear side window (1) up to 20 mm below frame seal

Move down rear side window (1) until bolts (6) are accessible through assembly openings on power window (7)

Loosen bolts (6)



 After loosing bolts (6), the inclination and the gap dimension "A" can be corrected in relation to the crank window in the front door.

Adjust height

Loosen nuts (8) and push slotted guide on power window (7) upward to move rear side window (1) downward or push down to move rear side window (1) up

 The upper edge of the rear side window (1) must disappear completely below the rubber lip of the sealing frame (arrows).

Loosen bolt (9) and adjust dimension "C" above lower end stop.

Check protrusion of front door window in relation to rear door window

 Loosen bolts (10) and adjust dimension "B" by moving power window (7).

Install in the reverse order

Check rear side window (1) for leakage and ease of motion and repeat adjustment if necessary.
