Dimensions:

 The following steps are shown on the left new component and must be performed analogously on the right side.

1 Scribe separation lines on lower door hinge bracket (2) (areas A and B).

2 Cut lower door hinge bracket (2) at separation points with body saw (areas A and B).

3 Grind mating surfaces on lower door hinge bracket (2) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

4 Welding nuts on lower door hinge bracket (2)  (area C).

5 Clean weld joints.

6 Recut thread on welding nuts with thread tap.

7 Cut lower repair panel (1.1) out of paneling and fit to vehicle.

8 Grind mating surfaces on lower repair panel (1.1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
