The following steps apply for the right side of the vehicle and must be performed on the left side with locations reversed.

1 Separate remaining sheet metal (5) from longitudinal member.

2 Cut spot welds out of remaining sheet metal (7) at outer longitudinal member (9) (arrows).

3 Remove remaining sheet metal (7).
