2 Mark separation lines (7, 19 and 20) with the following dimensions:
a = 490 mm,
b = 240 mm,
c = 90 mm measured from outer edge of cutout (arrow).

3 Expose spot welds in area (B) of front floor (1) and cut out.
4 Expose spot welds in area (C) of front floor (1) and grind.

5 Expose all spot welds of front floor (1) in shaded area up to separation lines (dotted lines 6, 7, 19 and 20) and cut out.

6 Mark separation line (8) along bracket (9) on front floor (1).
Cutting depth in area of cross braces (10), of reinforcement bracket (9) and along separation line (20) should be max. 1 mm.
7 Separate front floor (1) along separation lines (6, 7, 8, 19 and 20).

8 Expose spot welds on firewall in area (D) and cut out.
