Remove front bumper

Remove the front-end center piece

Remove the water heater

Remove remaining detachable parts in repair area

Cover all detachable parts that remain in the repair area

Expose and grind down weld seams in the area A

Remove bracket (1)

Grind off the connecting plates and coat them with zinc dust paint

Install

Grind off both sides of the bracket (1) in the marked areas and coat it with zinc dust paint

Position mount (1) according to dimensions specified in drawing and align

Danger

Supplement standard underfloor protection with MB permanent underbody sealant
