1 | Lift vehicle at front axle and secure against lowering with securing blocks | Only on vehicles with code (A00) Front axle, pneumatically suspended. | |
2 | Open front flap | ||
3 | Remove cotter pin (5) from upper telescopic ram bearing | ||
4 | Mark hydraulic lines (2) and remove from cab auxiliary telescopic ram (1) | Catch hydraulic oil running out. | |
5 | Unscrew nut (3) from bottom auxiliary telescopic ram bearing and remove retaining bolt | | |
6 | Remove bearing pin (4) from bottom auxiliary telescopic ram bearing | ||
7 | Remove cab auxiliary telescopic ram (1) | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Bleed cab tilt hydraulic system | Unscrew plug from tilting pump and add hydraulic oil up to top edge of filling opening. | |
When the filling opening is open tilt cab toward front and back to drive position Catch hydraulic oil running out. | |||
10 | Check connections on cab auxiliary telescopic ram for leakage |
