Danger!

Risk of injury caused by being caught or pinched as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Attach fastening strap to cab

Remove bolt (2) from cab tilt cylinder (1)

The cab tilt cylinder (1) should be free of tension

Pivot cab tilt cylinder (1) toward rear and remove vinyl rings (4) and bushing (6)

Retract cab tilting cylinder (1)

Installation: Open filler screw on manual pump and completely extend/retract cab tilt cylinder (1).The hydraulic system is vented by extending/retracting the cab tilt cylinder (1).

Mark hydraulic lines (9, 10) and remove

Catch oil running out in suitable vessel

Remove cab tilt cylinder (1)

Installation: Use new cotter pin (8).

Install in the reverse order

Check

Check oil level in hydraulic tilting pump

Check connections for leakage

Remove/install cab tilt cylinder
