Remove/install

Open engine hood and position upright.

Release all three clamps (1) and tilt tailpipe (2) slightly towards rear.


Slightly tilt tailpipe (2) towards rear.
Cab will otherwise be in contact with tailpipe (2) after it has been lifted and can be damaged.

Remove cable ties at bracket of wiring harness (3).

Remove cable ties at bracket of electrical wiring harness (4).

Remove both shock absorbers (5) at cab suspension system front left and right.

Move selector lever of hydraulic pump of cab tilt system to "Lift" position.

Adjust arm length of lifting cradle depending on roof height.



Attach crane hook to lifting cradle.

Slightly lift lifting cradle using crane and remove casters at lifting cradle.

Open doors.

Position lifting cradle at front in door cutouts and slightly lift cab until both elastomer bearings (6) of cab suspension system front left and right are free of tension.

Remove both nuts (7) at cab suspension system front left and right and remove both bearing pins.

Lift cab until elastomer bearings (6) can be fully pressed out.


During raising, check whether all lines and components between cab and frame are free of tension, if necessary disconnect connections.
Otherwise damage could occur to the lines or components.

 Installation: Before lowering the cab, move selector level of hydraulic pump of cab tilt system to "Lower" position.

 Aid of helper required.

Remove both elastomer bearings (6) using pull-off device (8.1).

 Installation: Replace both elastomer bearings (6). Observe installation position, arrow markings at circumference of elastomer bearings (6) must point upwards.
Position elastomer bearings (6) at chamfered side of bearing eye and install using insertion device (8.2).
