Teach-in process for power hydraulics circuit Ⅳ

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Connect measuring instrument for flow rate to hydraulic connections (1, 2).

Switch off hydraulic system.

Switch off ignition.

4.1

For power hydraulics with oil level indicator (green scale) (6).
Press buttons (3, 4) simultaneously, hold and then switch on the ignition.

 The teach-in process starts when the buttons (3, 4) are pressed and held down for over 2 s after switching on the ignition.

4.2

For power hydraulics without oil level indicator (green scale) (6) and with button (7) for snowplow relief.
Press buttons (4, 7, 8) at the same time, keep pressed and switch on ignition.

 The teach-in process starts when the buttons (4, 7, 8) are pressed and held down for over 2 s after switching on the ignition.

For power hydraulics without oil level indicator (green scale) (6) and without button (7) for snowplow relief.
Press buttons (4, 8) simultaneously, hold and then switch on the ignition.

 The teach-in process starts when the buttons (4, 8) are pressed and held down for over 2 s after switching on the ignition.

Release buttons (3, 4) or buttons (4, 7, 8) or buttons (4, 8).

 The red LED display above the zero scale of the luminescent band display (5) must light up. Otherwise, the operation steps 3 to 5 must be repeated.

Switch on power take-off.

Start engine.

Switch on hydraulic system and adjust working speed to approx. 2100 to 2200/min.

 See operator's manual.

Check flow rate on measuring instrument.

 If a value of 0 l/min is shown on the luminescent band display (5) the measuring instrument may only show a flow rate of 0 l/min.

If this is not the case



Adjust flow rate on measuring instrument.

 For a hydraulics output unit (A23) with oil level indicator (6) the flow rate is adjusted using buttons (7, 8) (button (7) +, button (8) ­).
For hydraulics output unit (A23) without oil level reading (6) and without buttons (7), the flow rate is adjusted using the hydraulics joystick (A22) (to front +, to rear ­).

Confirm set value by pressing button (4).

 In the luminescent band display (5) the LED for the next value lights up after pressing button (4) (30 l/min).

Check flow rate on measuring instrument.

 If a value of 30 l/min is shown on the luminescent band display (5) the measuring instrument may only show a flow rate of 30 l/min.

If this is not the case



Adjust flow rate on measuring instrument.

 For a hydraulics output unit (A23) with oil level indicator (6) the flow rate is adjusted using buttons (7, 8) (button (7) +, button (8) ­).
For hydraulics output unit (A23) without oil level reading (6) and without buttons (7), the flow rate is adjusted using the hydraulics joystick (A22) (to front +, to rear ­).

Confirm set value by pressing button (4).

 In the luminescent band display (5) the LED for the next value lights up after pressing button (4) (60 l/min).

Perform teach-in process for 60, 75, 90 l/min.

 See procedure for operation steps 10 up to 11.

Perform teach-in process from 75 to 0 l/min (75  60  30  0 l/min).

 See procedure for operation steps 10 up to 11.
The end of the teach-in process is indicated by all the LEDs on the luminescent band display (5) lighting up.

After confirmation of the value 0 l/min press the button (4) again.

 The red LED over the zero scale of the luminescent band display (5) goes out and the entire teach-in process is saved.

Switch off ignition.

To check the teach-in process, start engine and check flow rates of 0, 30, 60, 75, 90 l/min at a working speed of 1900 rpm.

Switch off engine.

Remove measuring instrument from hydraulic connections (1, 2).
