1 | Disconnect ground line from battery | ||
2 | Pull off light switch rotary switch knob (1) | ||
3 | Remove left switch pod (2) | Installation: Fit cover so it is straight. Hooks can break off. | |
4 | Remove nut (3) and washer (4) at light switch (5) | ||
5 | Remove right switch pod (6) | Installation: Fit cover so it is straight. Hooks can break off. | |
6 | Remove center switch pod (7) downwards | ||
7 | Remove bolts at top (8) and bottom (9) | Installation: Tighten bolts carefully. | |
8 | Pull instrument cluster (10) forwards | ||
9 | Take out light switch to the rear | ||
10 | Mark electrical connectors (11) and disconnect | ||
11 | Mark indicator lamps (12) and pull out of bracket | Installation: Do not mix up indicator lamps. | |
12 | Detach speedometer shaft (13) and electrical connector (14) at tachograph (15) | Removal, reinstallation of parts and removal/installation of lead seal can only be carried out by workshop personnel with §57b authorization. | |
13 | Remove instrument cluster | ||
14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
15 | Perform function check |
