Warning

Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Remove/install

Switch off ignition.

Detach electrical plug (2) from pump module (7).


The electrical plug (2) and the electrical connection may not come into contact with AdBlue®.
Otherwise, damage may occur in the electrical wiring harness and exhaust aftertreatment system control unit.

Protect electrical plug (2) and electrical connection on pump module (7) from escaping AdBlue® using plastic foil or similar.

Check electrical wiring harness for corrosion.

Remove AdBlue® line (3) from AdBlue® input fitting (11) and seal with the end cap (10).

Hold end cap (10) ready because AdBlue® comes out immediately after disconnecting the AdBlue® line (3).
Collect the escaping AdBlue® in a separate container.

Installation: Install new sealing rings.

Remove housing cover (1).

Only for pump modules (7), for which the hexagon for counterholding on the filter screen mount fitting (12) does not lie outside of, but rather behind the housing cover (1).

Remove AdBlue® input fitting (11) from filter screen mount fitting (12).

Counterhold with an open-end wrench (6) on the filter screen mount fitting (12).

Remove intake filter (9) from the filter screen mount fitting (12).

Pull out intake filter (9) using a screw (M4x40) (8).

Installation: Carefully insert the intake filter (9) in the filter screen mount fitting (12) until the collar of the intake filter (9) makes noticeable contact.

Install in the reverse order
