Remove

Turn off ignition

Disconnect the electric connector (5)

Remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor placed after the diesel particulate filter (B38) from the sensor bushing (4)



Install

Screw the hollow screw (2) and remove the pressure piping from the sensor bushing (4)

Loosen the nut (3) to make possible loosening the bushing of the sensor (4) on the bracket

Smear lubricant in the thread of the exhaust gas pressure sensor placed after the diesel particulate filter (B38)

Paste, hot lubrication 100 g DBL 6879.20

Install the exhaust gas pressure sensor placed after the diesel particulate filter (B38) in the sensor bushing (4)

Connect the electric connection (5)

Align the electric connection (5) by turning the sensor bushing (4) towards the wiring harness


The wiring harness may not be under tension.
Otherwise, functional disorders can occur.

Install the pressure piping in the sensor bushing (4)

Close/tighten the nut (3) to make possible installing the bushing of the sensor (4) on the bracket
