Replace the exhaust gas after-treatment control unit

Connect the diagnosis system, start the Xentry and perform the quick test.

Link exhaust gas aftertreatment (ACM) control unit and exhaust gas aftertreatment unit via VeDoc center

The replacement of the exhaust gas after-treatment control unit ACM (17A03) must be documented on VeDoc system

Update VeDoc documentation for exchange of exhaust aftertreatment unit and/or of exhaust aftertreatment control unit (ACM)

Disassemble/assemble

Disconnect the electric connections of the plug (5) of the exhaust gas after-treatment control unit ACM (17A03).

Unscrew the bolts (1) and remove the exhaust gas after-treatment control unit ACM (17A03) with the respective spacers (3).

Check if the spacers (3) are damaged and replace them if needed.


During the assembly, ensure that the spacers (3) are correctly seated:
It takes 2 spacers (3) for each screwed connection.

Install and fasten the exhaust gas after-treatment control unit ACM (17A03) with the spacers (3) and the bolts (1).

Place the connection by the electric plug (5) and fasten the wiring with clamps.
