1 | Park the vehicle on a level surface. | Engage the parking brake and chock the rear wheels to avoid the vehicle from rolling. | |
2 | Turn off the ignition. | Keep the steering wheel at center position and disconnect the battery cables. | |
3 | Remove the muffler tailpipe (235) by removing the mounting clamps from the brackets. | Muffler tail pipe mounting clamps to the bracket | |
4 | Remove the mounting clamp (236) between muffler and center pipe. | Mounting clamp between muffler and center pipe | |
5 | Remove the muffler from the vehicle by removing the mounting clamp (237) from the bracket. | Muffler mounting clamp to the bracket | |
6 | Remove the mounting clamp (238) between middle pipe and front pipe. | Mounting clamp between muffler middle pipe and front pipe | |
7 | Remove the muffler middle pipe by removing the clamp (239) from chassis bracket. | The clamp is near to front shock absorber. | |

18 | Remove the tail chassis bracket (250) from chassis. | Tail chassis bracket to chassis (exhaust system) | |
19 | Install in the reverse order. |
