Detach hose clamp (2) on diesel particulate filter

 Installation: Clean connecting points free of combustion and corrosion residues.



Remove screw/bolts (4) at exhaust rubber mount (5)



Unhook both rear mufflers (8) from exhaust rubber mount (6)

 Installation: Coat exhaust rubber mount (6) with liquid lubricant for the purpose of easier installation.

Unhook exhaust system (1) from exhaust rubber mounts (7)

 Installation: Coat exhaust rubber mount (7) with liquid lubricant for purpose of easier installation.

Remove exhaust system (1)



Checking

Inspect exhaust rubber mounts (5, 6, 7)

 Check exhaust rubber mounts (5, 6, 7) for wear; replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order



Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system (1)

 The exhaust system (1) must be mounted free of tension; align the exhaust system (1) if so required.

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
